Inside Arenas: While drainage is not a major concern in indoor arenas the necessity of superior horse footing is. Top Surface: For indoor horse riding arenas the surface is simply a matter of the owner's choice. Any of the traditional toppings or manufactured arena surface materials will work perfectly. EquiTerr's grid structure eliminates the problem of the top coating mixing with the arena base. If a top layer of sand is your choice you need only a chain drag to keep the sand level. Isn't it nice to know that you don't need special horse arena equipment to maintain an EquiTerr arena?
